Mobiles.co.uk Website Card Payment Issue

Having scoured the web for a great deal on a Google Pixel 6 Pro, I settled on a mobiles.co.uk deal. Going through Quidco for an additional £25, I tried to place my order on their website and after completing your direct debit details it goes to their card payment screen (to take 1p for accreditation). This fails with an "oops" type error "please try again or call sales for them to take your order". Obviously to Quidco it, I can't call them. This was yesterday, I've now tried numerous times, I've cleared caches, used 4 different browsers, 2 different operating systems, 2 different types of credit card and I still get this flaming error. I have communicated the problem to them via Twitter and their sales line - but guess what, they don't believe there's a problem as they're taking orders from other people. This cannot be me. Anyone else?  And no, they can't give me an extra £25 off to counteract the loss of the Quidco bonus. Not sure what to do other than to go elsewhere and look for another deal.

  • So it seems that it's the format of my address causing the problem. Their address form doesn't cater for the lack of a street name in your address...  :#
