EDF Direct Debit Scam

If they haven't taken the £150 credit into account then the credit in March 20222 would be around the £150 mark still give or take a small amount. Perhaps they are hoping you will spend the extra £25 per month on heating. I had over £900 credit when I left Bulb in Jan 2021 this is because I went on their average readings rather than put in my own readings for the 12 months, which were substantially lower than the average. Roughly 53% lower for electric and 80% for gas.Luvvaduck said:Maybe I need to clarify point 2 on my original post
IF
I have £150 of credit from the summer and my expected bill for the next 6 months is £950
THEN
The correct Direct Debit for the next six months should be (950-150)/6 = 133/month
BUT
EDF ignored the £150 and just calculated 950/6 = 158
THUS
EDF would be charging £25 per month too much for no reason other than they think they can get away with it
If you can afford the price until March 2022 then pay it then if there is any credit over a months payment request a refund.Someone please tell me what money is0 -
