Hey lovely people! Bless you! The fact you’ve all taken time to post to see how I am has really touched my heart, thank you!!I’m ok, big business is just ticking along just as it was before, which is disheartening as we’re putting in so much effort to try and get new members. Small business has taken another downward spiral, because of the summer holidays coming up, I’ve had 6 memberships cancelled 🤦🏻♀️ Which is £200 a month.Car has cost us £250 so far and still isn’t fixed. So more money is going to have to be thrown at it 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. Looked at buying a second hand one but they’re so expensive. Also looked at the tax benefits for buying an electric one through the business, not that we can afford one, but although tax savings are massive, that’s only a 1 off, and it will save us, by my calculations £700 a year on fuel…… but it will cost £40k, of which we don’t have, so the sums don’t really add up. Going to try and be more economical driving for a start, and taking everything out of the car that doesn’t need to be in there. My 10kg gym bag does not need to live in it!Struggling with food costs and have been so busy with work as a member of staff has been away, have just been nipping to coop so have lost all sort of control. Have time today to sit and work things out.But in good news. I heard about my application for possible new job / career, and I got through the first sift!!!! I’ve got 4 more huge hoops to jump through. Including fitness testing, a written exam, more fitness testing, and an interview board. But it’s going in the right direction. And o had a phone interview about some casual weekend work which is highly paid, so waiting for a face to face meeting about that over the next couple of weeks. So I’m trying hard. Thanks again for checking in xx5

Lovely to hear from you again. Congratulations on the application and the potential job too!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1

Glad to hear things might be looking up on the new job front @missymoo81. Good luck with all the stages! I feel for you with the big and small business - all that work, and things stay the same. So disheartening.Live the good life where you have been planted.

Thanks guys, need to go through all my money etc later and see where I’m at. As I’ve got cash from different things but I don’t know how much. I need to go food shopping, I need to get school uniforms
Not sure about coats, I think we’re ok for now. Managed to get Roo some much needed trainers yesterday, and they’re a little big so they should last a year, fingers crossed. I need to try and sort out some new furniture and soft furnishings as May will be in her own room this summer holiday. As Roo is nearly 11 and they both squabble quite a bit as they don’t have their own space.
But I will try marketplace as we need rugs and curtains and cushion covers.Currently at work but feeling really rough. Think I’ve just been pushing it a bit hard this week.2 -
I’ve got some real bargains on marketplace - look there first nowSealed pot challenge 822
