Cannot add BT sport app to Plusnet Broadband.

Hello everyone, I have recently changed to Plusnet Broadband, I only did this so that I could access BT sport cheaply by adding the BT sport app to my account. I have been trying since last Saturday to no avail. I have been passed back and forth between BT and Plusnet each blaming the other. After about 6 hours of telephone calls and chats I finally gave up last night and asked them to remove the app from my Plusnet account.
I am outside of the cooling off period, but can I leave without being charged as I don't believe I am getting the service that I signed up for or am I just stuck with them unable to get the one thing I actually signed up for? Many thanks for any help you can give me.

Where are you trying to install the app , where are you getting the app from .Is it not downloading , not installing , or not logging on ??0

Don't think getting/installing the app is the problem @redjem61 ?? Problem is getting the discounted rate.
BT Sport App subscription to ordinary punter - £25 / mth
BT Sport App subscription to Plusnet BB customer £15.69 / mth
Been here trying to get discounted rate for this app via EE mobile contract. Was too troublesome and gave up.

OP - If you are outside the cooling off period and PN are supplying the service then I think that you are stuck with them as BT Sport is an "add on".
I had problems initially setting up BT Sports app access in 2017 with PN; can't remember how I solved it but I think it was after I posted the issue on PN's own forums. Out of interest it was £2.50 pm then !! I cancelled when it was going up to £10pm in early 2020.!!0 -
