Added £30 for February, also I've been putting a bit extra in now and then but not counting it. I'm looking forward to a surprise for Christmas

Could I join please I’ve just had my lightbulb moment and I have to stop. I’ll be putting £50/ month until I catch up. I’ve started a few surveys and got £5.73 to check out on Curious Cat and that will go in. I’ve sew but have so much fabric I’ll Never use it so I’ll be destashing some and adding it to the challenge

You soon get into the habit of putting a £1 a day away and just think this time next year you will have a healthy chunk of money towards the expense of Christmas

This is a great idea. 
I have my own saving account for Christmas with the save the change option.
