Two-year-old LPG tank - Flogas say it's not compliant to switch to them from Calor

House was built in 2019 and Calor installed the LPG tank for the housebuilder, and have supplied us since. We had the 9p price rise letter from Calor and can break contract. Calor gave us a new contract quote but Flogas gave us a much better one. We started the process to switch to Flogas. 

Sent Flogas pics of our underground tank as requested, and they've said it doesn't meet their standards. For them, the tank make/model being next to a driveway means we need a crash barrier 1m from the tank lid - a semicircle of boulders. This would be on our drive! I said 'but Calor are happy with it' and they said different suppliers have different rules. 

Worried Calor have done an installation they know meets their rules and not other suppliers so we're stuck with them. 

Has anyone had anything like this before? Anyone know which suppliers are on the more relaxed end of the spectrum?!

Vehicles are not allowed to park within 3m of lpg tanks. A 1m barrier would be more for a AG tank to stop vehicles reversing into it.  If the tank is orientated so part of it is under the path/drive that is an infringement.  

Tanks are installed by various LPG firms clear of walls and boundaries and so on but often on a building site that is in a very unfinished sate. The Developer could have put in the drive and have infringed on the tank.
