PCN/CCJ sent to wrong address - applied for judgement to be set aside, what next?

who is their client on the debt collector letter ?

for an outstanding CCJ*0

If they made a claim only months ago to an old address and have already obtained the correct address weeks after the ccj, that tells us that the claim easily could and should have been issued to the correct address.
Is it possible that a boyf/girlf could have registered a vehicle using your details? or that someone has transferred a windscreen ticket, giving your details but an old address?

Nah, the original PCN was definitely registered to my vehicle as the debt collector told me my reg plate. Originally I wanted to contest the PCN as it has been incorrectly issued (I.e. I was using the gym and parked in the gym car park and have evidence of that), but at this point I just want the CCJ to be off my record as I don't want it to destroy my chance of getting a mortgage in the next few years.Johnersh said:If they made a claim only months ago to an old address and have already obtained the correct address weeks after the ccj, that tells us that the claim easily could and should have been issued to the correct address.

Check GSV images of the car park and gym , to see if it gives the name of the parking company , or give us the name and location , because dcb legal are not the claimant
Email a SAR to the DPO at dcb legal too1 -
How could you have "originally wanted to contest the PCN" if you state you never knew about it?Alareas said:

Originally being a week ago. I misinterpreted the letter as being a CCJ whereas it is actually a notification that I failed to pay a CCJ.
There has been a lot of nit-picking in this thread which I'm sure is because I'm being a bit unclear due to being so frantic atm and that's obviously not helping everyone advise me; however I can assure everyone, there isn't a big secret and I'm not hiding anything, I truly did not know of this CCJ/PCN until 2 weeks ago when I got this letter. Since then I've been trying to piece together what letter I've actually got, what has been sent, and where. The debt collectors have given me very little information about the original PCN which is why I've had to try to look up the CCJ on my credit report and call the court directly.

You've had the best advice (and you are going to do it on Monday) and that is to phone CCBC and ask to which address they sent the original N1 claim form and the judgment notice. It seems to me that you have a cast iron case for a set-aside due to CCBC failing to serve the N1 to the correct address. This may be the fault of the CCBC or the parking company or its solicitor.1

We still don't know who the PPC Is, so you must ring the CCBC and ask to be emailed:
- the particulars of claim,
- the name of the claimant (it's not DCBLegal)
- the claim number and
- the date of judgment.
come back on Monday and tell us those four answers and copy and paste the 'particulars of claim' here that the CCBC email to you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
