Xmas vino sorted with Virgin switch......

After a few problems with my password (it's needed to get the above offer) I've now set up a switch from an old account.
Having read the terms sent in the email, about 4 times 😁 I see nothing other than doing a full switch from an old account, doesn't mention paying in anything, DD's or even setting up a saver account as in the previous offer.1 -
Has anyone that has had the existing customer offer sent have their marketing preferences turned off?
I previously haven't had a switch offer from Virgin, so this would suit.
However I have my marketing preferences turned off. So wondering if that would effect not getting the email.0 -
I have my marketing preferences set to everything except phone. Contact preferences are set to email only.
Last year I joined Virgin Money and opened an M plus current account along with a saver. That was part of the switch terms to get the wine offer.
Three months later I opened a second M plus account with another saver. This latest wine switch offer sent via email relates to this second account I opened, stating I've not completed a switch for the account yet to possibly get the offer again for that account.
So if you've not recently opened a second account give it a go, who knows.0 -
Cheers. I opened my account before there was any incentive. Or if it was running I didn't take advantage of it anyway as didn't have any direct debits on the account.
Only used a saver at the moment anyway.

I just saw that I was eligible for the wine offer as an existing customer through a sponsored Facebook post. Hadn't bothered reading the email I got last week until then.

I would apply and am reasonably confident I would be accepted as I got the Virgin credit card 6 months ago. However I do not want any more hard searches at moment. One is from 6 months ago and one for British Gas for a utility search.0
