Overseas car hire booking agent has been declared bankrupt - how do I get my money back?

I booked car hire in February 2020 for a trip to Portugal due to take place in July 2020 through HolidayCars.com, paying by credit card. The UK government travel advice in July was not to travel and both our outbound and inbound flights were subsequently cancelled by the airline. As a result I cancelled our car hire but I was only given the option of a credit voucher towards a future rental (valid for an indefinite period), which didn't seem too much of an issue at the time as I'd hoped to use it in the foreseeable. Unfortunately I've now gone to use said credit voucher and find that BookingMonkey Sarl (Switzerland), formerly trading as HolidayCars.com, which my booking and payment was placed with, has ceased trade due to its insolvency per 22 June 2021 and is unable to pay any pending refunds and/or redeem prepaid credit vouchers issued. By decision of the Lausanne District Court, the company was declared bankrupt with effect from 23 September 2021.
Can anyone advise if I am able to claim this money back somehow?
Any advise is very gratefully received!

Your only real hope is to see if there's anything your card provider can do. But given that you accepted a voucher I'm not sure even they can help.1

How much was the bill?
Chargeback is probably time barred but a S75 claim could succeed if it was over £100... there will be a potential argument on the Debtor-Creditor-Supplier chain though given the agency.0
