Bank account with 'Decline' feature like Tesco Bank?

Sadly my Tesco Bank Account is closing at the end of next month and I will miss the feature where, before I went shopping, I could transfer £50 (or some other amount that I didn't want to spend above) and go to the shops without the risk of me forgetting how much I have in my shopping trolly and going over my 'limit'. If I'd gone to a few shops and my next shop was going to take me over the balance in my account, the transaction would be declined (as it should be) rather than me going into unarranged overdraft.
Does anyone else belong to a bank that has the same feature please? I will miss it!

Monzo allow you to separate your money in pots.1

I am pretty sure that most new bank accounts, where credit is not automatically given (e.g. Starling, Monzo, Chase and I am sure others), will only let you spend out of your balance.1

Tesco Clubcard Pay+ should fit your bill perfectly, along with any current account you like.
Have you considered switching your Tesco current account to benefit from one of the switching offers?1 -
Thanks for the replies. I do have a small chunk of savings in Monzo but never thought of using a 'pot' for shopping. I don't like the idea of taking a bank card out of the house that could be lost or stolen where others have access to my little bit of savings but I do have accounts with Nationwide so I could have a shuffle of what I use each account for.
The main thing I want to be able to do is not spend more than I know I can afford. Thank you!DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

Thanks for the reply Daliah but as far as I know the Tesco Clubcard Pay+ there is a monthly fee. I have about £150 a month for groceries, petrol and 'fun' so didn't think it would be worth the monthly fee as I don't spend much in Tesco. Have I read it wrong?Daliah said:Tesco Clubcard Pay+ should fit your bill perfectly, along with any current account you like.

Transfer the spending money to Starling. Make sure the 'overdraft' slider is set to zero. Now you can only spend on your Starling debit card the amount in the account.1

Yes - it's free of charge unless you are shopping the Tesco Ireland (i.e. in Euro)socks_uk said:

It would be news to me if there was a fee for the Clubcard Pay+ card. Where about did you get that information from?socks_uk said:

It would also be news to me if you only got points on that card when shopping in Tesco.0 -
Whilst I love my Starling for its Euro facilities, I wouldn't use it for shopping in the UK as long as I get cashback or points for shopping with other debit cards such as Chase or Tesco Clubcard Pay+.
