Hi SPCers!
What a horrible week so far with such storms, but by golly Friday beat them all!! What some flooding around Shropshire!! Keep safe and well everyone! Here's hoping we can all save
well...in a way that's best for us all! For
those who are poorly or feeling low, take care, and get well soon, for
now here are love and hugs to help look after yourselves ❤️
I'm really glad you had a lovely week away, Vicky, umm DH too!
It sounds as though you were fortunate with the amount of damage, thank goodness.
Well done with the potting, sorting your card too.
See you later in the week.
Brilliant potting and saving via Plum and your nails, MrsShazbat!!
I'm
so very pleased to hear about your AF, but it's good to know it's
being sorted out with the Beta blockers and blood thinning drugs. All
the best with it being sorted out more once you have the procedure to
kick it back where it should be; a procedure I remember Tony Blair
having in the 90's. One of our members on Fitbit has the same and is
fine now.
Take very great care of yourself xx
Well done with your potting, Hummingbird!
So sorry to hear your freezer, fridge and boiler were kaput, Siju. Let's hope you get the boiler sorted out as quickly as possible. Thank goodness you have a wood burner to keep you warm!
I take it your garden isn't overlooked by any neighbours? 🧖🚿 😂
Great potting Siju, take care during the next named storm!
Hi little_sweetie,
unless I misunderstood, I'm pretty sure it was exactly that Siju &
her DH had showered in the garden (needs must)!! Apparently they have
extremely understanding neighbours, either that or neighbours who are
voyeurs! 😂
Ooh it's brass monkeys here too, especially this morning!
T
& I are both very well thank you, BTW, T had an appointment with a
Dr at the surgery 2 weeks ago, they spoke about exactly what was wrong
with his spine and the drugs T had been given "they're rubbish said the
Dr about at least one lot!! 😧 He's given him Naproxen and Omeprazole
and apart from a few twinges during the first month of taking them he
says he's never been as free from pain!! 😁 All the pain he's been
through for years and now nigh on gone, fingers crossed!! 😆
I hope you & G are warm and in good health too. Take great care of yourselves and each other.
Ah, but at least you've spent 10p less thanks to IKEA, two ways of looking at it, Hetty!
I hope you've both faired as well as possible given the weather Yorkshire suffered! Take care of yourselves.
I hope you've really enjoyed your time away, scotmumof3? We've all had spasms through the weather, Siju being hardest hit.
Not too long until March comes, I can't believe it either! 😒 Lovely spring flowers in the garden though. 😊
Good potting!
Excellent work with the vouchers, LMD and the transferred £10! Looking forward to your next!!
A really beautiful long and lovely walk with T, DD & DGS, such a beautiful afternoon! Very chilly in spots, but really gorgeous. Another £20 transferred to my SPC account.
Have a wonderful Thursday! Make the most of it,
and keep very healthy!
Save in which ever way is
best for YOU!

Ooh poor you @MrsShazbat that doesn’t sound nice. But proper diagnosis and treatment sounds like a good outcome. I was prescribed Omeprazole and Naproxen when I was in agony with some knee trouble @Sue-UU It worked wonders for me. Glad to hear it’s working for your husband. Found another 5p roadkill and potted some more money saved from not having to go into the office

Thanks so very much for coming on so swiftly, Ant, it's always so reassuring to hear when someone has exactly the same reaction to drugs!! T's delighted to know and thanks you a great deal as "they've given me a new lease of life!"
The pain had been unbearable for a very long time, but the other Drs were saying "Oh don't worry, we'll manage it!!" Surely managing IS properly taking care of a patient's pain! Ginks!
They're certainly miraculous in 'doing the job' especially when it comes to such awful pain!
Very many thanks Ant, we much appreciate your words.
Brilliant in your latest acquisition!
Have a wonderful Thursday, Friday too! Make the most of it,
and keep very healthy!
Save in which ever way is best for YOU!

Sue - I hope that the flooding has subsided. We seem to have been lucky in Rutland, but have seen the devastation in other areas on the news.
Pay day was on Thursday for me, so I managed to pot £50 left over from last month. Plus 84p from a refund on our milk delivery AND £11 something from my TopCashback. . I'm making the most of revelling in this glory...
