How about a report to the police and council? Wrongfully obtaining and extorting money from motorists they have zero entitlement to!? I think this is personally newsworthy!
These PCNs were all issued in early 2018, over three and a half years ago. The Council were obviously already aware, which is why they ordered VCS to remove the lines from the public highway part of the road surface.

The Police are very unlikely to be interested in this kind of thing. Polite cough ''It's a civil matter, sir''.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Are you suggesting that TS will buy this?  I have a mate in Reading TS who certainly would not.

    Good result

On a side note - if I have read correctly where he has parked - then I hope the motorist involved has stopped parking on the drop kerb, otherwise, he may get a proper PCN.  B)

My vehicle was parked, on all occasions, approximately where the white car on the left of the picture is situated

Unless one of their senior officers or the Chief Constable (or a friend/relative of one of those people) got stung by VCS, then they'd do something.

I very much doubt that this is a civil matter.  Have the press been informed?.  Will the PPC be reqiuired to everyone who wrong paid and pefund their money?  This pot needs stirring.

100%. It is a big matter of public interest.

I'm not really happy about the "quasi-police" powers these people have on private land enforcing made up offences (passengers alighting in non-designated zones) and enforcing RTA l/ Council style offences there too. Now they are encroaching onto public land and unfairly and improperly "Taxing" people.  Would any civil liberty groups be interested in this sort of thing? 🤔
  • These court reports are very informative, will there be one for VCS v Percy (latest court of appeal ruling that the add on £60 is lawful); or have I missed it?

Yes, they really are informative. Surely you have an opinion on a private parking company charging motorists on land they have no authority to ticket or charge for on?

Bargepole represented the motorist, so I would have thought that he would prefer to have the pleasure; unless only the wins are reported 🤷🏼‍♂️
