    The issue with this , is you will not learn anything about how the investments will perform in just a few months.
    For example your investment could go up 10% in 6 months . So you think that must be good so invest some more in that .
    Then the next 6 months it goes down 20%.
    It is a long term game and better you do some more reading , rather than randomly testing the waters .

    Very true thanks, tho at least I know a lot more now than I did this time yesterday :)

    I see "Settlement price £62.91" when I expand the S&P so assume thats the cost for 1 single unit, hence why wasn't quite enough left in the 1k to allocate 1 more unit
