Thanks for the quote from their FAQs,  but it was the Direct Debits I have already set up that I was trying to see.

Most banks and building societies have this faciliy within their online banking screens.

Ecology do not appear to have this,

I guess I'll have to message them and ask for a list.

Why would there be a list with multiple entries within Ecology's online banking?  Surely there will only be a single DD paying into Ecology, even though it would show on (what might be) a list of DD mandates held at the other end of the transaction, i.e. the bank account from which you're feeding the Ecology account....
As eskbanker says, you'll not get a list of DDs on the Ecology BS account because there aren't any DDs from that account.

You get a list of outgoing DDs on bank accounts.  Not a list of incoming ones.

And for Ecology BS there'll (surely) only be one incoming one anyway. Which, as you're the one setting it up, you know about and it will be listed in the account you're drawing from.

That's strange,  because both my Post Office and Lloyds accounts allow me to view, cancel and in the case of the Post Office amend my direct debits.
Well of course.  The Lloyds account lists the outgoing DDs that you have authorised a third party to take.  Which is exactly what I suggested.  Not strange at all.  You can't alter them, you can only cancel them.  Because altering can only be done by the receiving party.

The PO account lists the incoming DD that you have authorised, for each PO account, from a bank account held elsewhere.  And of course the PO account allows you to alter it.  That's the whole point of a DD, it can be altered by the party (in this case you, it's your PO account) it is going to.   Again, not strange at all.

But it's a completely different concept to a list of outgoing DDs in a bank account.

You are correct on the Lloyds comment.  My mistake.  But the PO account list DD's set up to take money from another account,  the same as my Ecology account,  but the Ecology won't let me view them.
And, from your description, I'm correct about your PO account too. Not sure why you put a 'but' in about that.
