    Okay have now created my own post in Savings and Investments. Surprised Martin hasn’t discussed it on his blog
    Martin sold this site many years ago. Now just a figurehead as a marketing tool.

    Closure fee not applied to GIA nominee accounts which is presumably what the OP would have used.

    And JISAs which they sneakily added about a year or two ago without notifying existing account holders.
    I complained as they had given me written assurance that it didn't apply to JISAs before opening the accounts so they let me transfer them out without paying the charge.
    Otherwise an overall good service.
