ParkingEye - overstaying in LIDL carpark

I appreciate this is a very upsetting matter and I am so sorry that you were unhappy with our previous response.
Who at Lidl writes this rubbish. A CEO who appears to be totally disconnected with his custtomers?
A customer service dept who simply cannot read the Parking Eye manual ?
I am not a fan of Lidl especially when the big supermarkets are price matching with far better products.
No point in going to a cheapo supermarket hoping to save 30% plus when a parking cowboy will add another £100 ??? Lidl could actually be the most expensive CHEAPO supermarket in the UK thanks to a CEO who really is out of touch by allowing a cowboy to rule the roost

Have you tried to personally talk to the manager of the store, they may be able to do something. (It helped me with Matalan).
Good luck!siscor
Barclays claimed £260, solved with £75
Barclayscard -> HFO Services claimed £2000, not solved yet3 -

In business losing customers that absorb a disportionate amount of valuable time aren't considered a loss.
But loss of family, friends, and relations might be. .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2 -

Quote from LIDL - “In order to ensure our customers are able to park without waiting for a space we have Car Park Management in place with time restrictions on length of stay.”
Yet ParkingEye signage state they operate 24/7 - unlike LIDL

A good point, why not raise it with Lidl. Also ask about parking over lines. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Well that’s a turn up for the books!
After listing some bullet points in readiness for my POPLA appeal, ParkingEye have cancelled the charge
Dear Sir / Madam,
Thank you for your correspondence in relation to the Parking Charge incurred on 13 October 2021 at 13:40, at Lidl Skegness car park.
We would like to confirm that this Parking Charge has now been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due. If you make any future visits to this car park, please kindly take note of the maximum stay period in operation to avoid incurring any further charges.
The terms and conditions will be displayed on the signage located at the entrance and within the car park. Thank you for helping Lidl ensure that every customer has the opportunity to park their vehicle and shop.
Yours faithfully,
Parkingeye Team
