If you can fold down the back seats then look at a Citroen Berlingo.

I have a Peugeot 5008, It will handle 3 dogs in the boot and 6 if you put the seats down.Like these 2.Auto 2011 Grey 92,000 miles. AutotraderManual 2011 Blue 97,000 miles + New cambelt kit fitted Autotrader.I have a 2016 5008 Diesel auto.Boot is large and with seats down I have moved my full size fruit machine in it.Its 5 years old and never had an issue with it.

Thanks a lot for that but my kids are set on petrol ( they will drive it half of the time ) due to whatever environmental concerns they have ( I dont understand it but thats the way the world is )0

I just bought a 2007 Hyundai Matrix for 2k, it had 57k on the clock. The rear seats do this double folding and flipping thing which makes a big boot.
