It’s only BACs payments that show early on a Saturday if it’s due in your account on Monday with Barclays.
As you work in a school, it'll likely be a council making the payroll payment. In which case it'll be paid by bacs. If the payment is due Monday, it'll be in your account from 00:01 Monday0 -

Your previous employer was paying you on the Saturday. It's nothing to do with Barclays.
Every employer that I have ever had or any benefits etc that are due on the Monday the money is always in on the Saturday just like this Saturday when I received CB and UC. So it is down to Barclays and that is why I am questioning about my wages.

Barclays incorrectly classify incoming automated credits as BGC.
It never was a BGC (Bank Giro Credit using a physical credit slip) it would have been BACS.
