Virgin or Plusnet
Just coming to the end of my 12 month contract with Three where both me and my son found the reception very poor at home, work and university 😢.
We are considering SIM only deals at £6 which offers 4GB data and free calls and texts. Narrowed it down initially to Virgin or Plusnet and was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on which one to pick? Virgin is 12 months and Plusnet 1 month contracts.
Regards

I would avoid Virgin as they are now piggybacking on Vodafone.

I'm with Virgin (on EE) and my wife is on Plusnet (also with EE).
I love that virgin rolls over unused data to the next month - that suits me very well.
But plusnet's customer service is fabulous.
If you're happy to do 12 months with plusnet, they'll give you more data. https://www.plus.net/mobile/deals/sim-only-12-month/7/9GB/unl/unl/20/MSE/Oct210 -
I’ve found the virgin/Vodafone signal to be very good. Better than O2.0
