This https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4754020is the thread I had been following in response to the LBC, is there a more up to date version somewhere?

You know where the NEWBIES advice thread is, top of the forum as a permanently pinned 'sticky' announcement thread. Not sure why you are looking elsewhere than the LBC advice there?

It is on 'The Parking tickets Board Sticky', 5 lines below the NEWBIES thread, in case it should be deleted. It was also one of the first threads showing after searching LBC.Right, I won't bother with that anymore. Onwards and upwards Thanks @Coupon-mad2

As well as ending SAR to PPC should I consider sending the advised email to solicitor to ELMS Legal. Even if they are only working as a debt recovery company (they provide civil litigation and advocacy also) would it be prudent to supply them with that information?0

I think a Board Guide needs to update his sticky and add the TEMPLATE DEFENCE thread and remove these:
(IAS = Independent Appeals Service)
Parking - Letter Before County Court Claim (LBCCC) - Fight back! Guidance Thread
Park Right: The easy way to avoid parking tickets. Guide discussion
PPC Letter Chains
Really old stuff there...and I can't see the point of the BPA CoP link as it's easy to Google.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,My mp has asked for my details about this issue so he can contact VCS direct. I assume this is okay to go ahead with but just wanted to check in case it affects my defence, should it go any further.1

If you're using POFA as one of your defence points then make sure you don't say anything to your MP which could "out" you as the driver. (I've not read back through the thread to understand your specific circumstances). But there's no reason at all why you shouldn't let your MP know - he/she can't help if you don't.Jenni x2

Nothing your MP says to a firm like VCS will work. They will fob him/her off, talking about the PCN being 'properly' issued and that they abide by the self-serving and wishy washy IPC Code of Practice.
More important is for your MP to write to the DLUHC and to ask what they are doing to ensure the new statutory Code next year covers and eradicates issues like this.
And do tell him/her to state categorically that you, his constituent, have urged him/her to disagree with any Code placed before Parliament that includes the tone deaf and unlawful (under the POFA 2012) proposal of''allowing' PPCs to add extra 'costs' of £70 multiples, for the letter chain that the parking charge already covers.
And as a matter of fact, adding £70 to the signs is an appalling error of a proposal. It's as far away from a consumer 'safeguard' as the Government could possibly get.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So, I have received a CCBC claim form (issue date 29-12-21) and have completed AoS on MCOL, believe that gives me until the end of January to submit my defence. In trying to do so I see that the template is materially altered from the original post on the thread and wanted to ask whether any of the three cases (So'ton etc) need to be incorporated into the said defence. It looks like not as @Coupon-mad clearly states in bold "no attachments". Forgive me for not reading ahead where I assume it tells me to put them in at a later stage, just want the defence to be watertight. Cheers1
