We had one foray into the world of online conveyancing with Premier Property Lawyers, not an experience we would care to repeat despite them being highly recommended to us.
The entire transaction was fraught with difficulties and the case handler was clearly out of her depth and completely overwhelmed by the number of files she was working on.
Communication was non existent, paperwork constantly missing resulting in the chain being pushed almost to the point of collapse.

Have recently completed a purchase using a solicitor local to our new home who was an absolute marvel. She had the best support team always available to pick up the phone and answer emails promptly etc.Excellent experience from start to finish.

The difference in legal fees was negligible but the difference in service level was poles apart!

I had the complete opposite experience (twice) with Premier Property Lawyers, communication through the online portal was faultless and I could see up to date daily progress. Both transactions were complete by 11 and 12 weeks.

Just like any firm they wont get it right all the time.
