Manchester T1 transit time

Anybody arrived through Manchester T1 recently? I have to collect my daughter coming in from Spain on Monday and wonder how long it's taking to get through all the checks, baggage reclaim etc.

That won't be transit then.

Immigration could be fast or slow, it typically depends on how many non-CTA flights have arrived in the hour before. As a guide, it took 60 minutes to get through immigration at Luton on Sunday being the 6th of 6 flights arriving in a block.

Bags will depend on where the plane is parked, some gates are closer to the baggage hall than others.

I generally budget on 40 minutes to front of terminal, additional time to walk to the free pick up places at most airports on most occasions. Generally this is about right.

At the beginning of October, we landed at around 01.30

We were in the car at 02.22 having cleared passport control and collected checked baggage

I meant transit in the sense of transiting from the aircraft to the terminal exit.

Came through mid September.  30 mins from gate to being in car including collecting luggage and immigration.  Fastest I've ever seen

It took daughter about 25 mins.
