problems receiving uc sms code

Hi,
I've been having problems receiving the text code for uc login (I don't receive the text). I've rang the uc about this and they're unable to find out what the problem is. All my details are correct. They asked me to keep trying?? I've no problems receiving the text msg before.
Anybody had similar problems before?
Please advise.
Thanks.

This happened to me quite a few weeks ago when i tried logging in to my daughters journal. I asked for the code several times but no code was sent so i gave up. A couple of hours later i received all the codes. Have you tried resetting you password? You would need to click forgot password to do that.

Yes, it's potentially a very real issue. There is no guarantee that SMS txt messages are instantaneous. If you are out of signal range, or the tower to which you are connected is overloaded, you may not receive the txt in real time and it may be delivered sometime after requested, at which point it may have already timed out and expired.I'm not sure if there is a process to switch to another verification method?0

I've just had a look to see if there is and yes you can. When you ask for a code to be sent, underneath there, there's an option that says "problems getting your phone or getting the code." If you click on that it brings up some options and one includes email access, so a code can be sent this way too, which would be the email you used when you started your claim.

Thanks @poppy12345 that's useful to know, and email may certainly be more reliable in some instances than SMS.
