Thinking about it, I'm wondering if there's a more innocent explanation.If they were in the process of buying it then they may have been (wrongly) attempting to switch suppliers in readiness for them taking over after buying it. House buyers are forced to take the previous owner's supplier when taking over, it's possible that they may have been trying to switch to their preferred supplier before they bought it.This would have been a wrong thing to do, but at least it would be logical, perhaps slightly understandable and not intentionally vindictive.0
