Ccjs

Hi. I had an empira notice of enforcement saying bailiffs will be sent. Ive fought againt ccjs before and had them voided.
Thing is these companies take so long and drag the process out that you forget what's happened. I don't remember getting ccj letters for these two.
What are my options, is it too late now? Even though the address sent to is correct can i still apply for a set aside? Should i pay, even though it would mess my credit up for 6 years? What's the best thing for me to do?
I want to make a decision fast, don't want to be throwing hands with bayliffs at my door haha.
Any help and advice is appreciated. Thanks

There are things you can do about ccjs and the experts here will no doubt be along soon. On a side note though, seeing as you mention bailiffs, they usually have to give 7 days notice of first visit and you do not have to let them in. Yes they can enter through an open door, so don't leave any.
Not a position anybody wants to be in, but as it was raised.......The pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.1 -
Not enough information to answer the questions
Were court papers ignored ? Was the correct address used for service ? England and Wales ? Or elsewhere ?
Read the second post of the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements , CCJ advice in there
Are they for private parking companies ? Or council ?
If Bailiffs are instructed , was the high court involved ?
Are we talking hundreds ? Or thousand's ? Of pounds ?
Who is the claimant or claimants ?2 -
@Redx i cant remember if i received them. I probably lost them or something and its been so long that i forgot about them. Correct address was used and im in england.
Private company.
Dont think high court but they said "intend to make an application to the county court for the following court order.
£270 each for 2 ccjs.
And uk car parking management probably.

Are the CCJs dated less than 30 days ago, if so then you can pay them to wipe them off. Not so, if the CCJs are dated before that.
How are you sure the correct address was used for the claims? This it vital to know from the CCBC so phone and ask.
If it was, I can't see how you can set aside UNLESS the Claimant will consent to set aside, so fire off an email to their solicitors asking that and making an offer if their client will CONSENT TO SET ASIDE THE CCJs (Gladstones, I am guessing...how very lucrative for Gs to have set up EMPIRA this year - same Director, I believe).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have you complained to your MP?You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -

I've gone against one before and wrote complete rubbish, just following the guildlines here, quoting all kinds of things and i had a ccj voided and i also somehow had the money back for a previous one i paid for.
Obviously i want that chance to defend myself again and not pay these ridiculous ccjs with all their made up additional charges.0 -
If you want to try for a CCJ set aside anyway, the NEWBIES thread and reading any ten or more of our umpteen zillion 'CCJ set aside' threads will get you up to speed.
However a set aside without consent of the claimant costs £275 now and I can't see you getting that back unless you are on a low income and get help with court fees.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
