This has happened to us, utterly disgusted. I recommended my son who would have shopped around fir a cheaper deal had we known the amazon vouchers weren't going to arrive

Well after waiting since January and so many email complaints to British Gas refer a friend today I actually got a call from the complaints department . They said they will issue my friend and I vouchers today ! I thought it was £100 each but she said that’s for home insurance and it’s £75 vouchers each or can have it credited to your fuel bill . Least they are now working though the complaints after all this time .

I've always considered vouchers and "money back" deals to be a maybe - they might or might not arrive, and if they don't sometimes the stress of having to deal with the companies isn't worth it, so I don't count them as part of my comparison.
