Simple mobile with buttons that can load vaccine passport App
My husband has finally (reluctantly) admitted his 12 year old Samsung mobile needs to be replaced. I would just have purchased a dumb phone for him but I think he should have a phone we can put the NHS covid app on. Can anyone recommend a simple, unlocked phone with buttons and a good battery life that can have the odd app loaded onto it?

Covid app running on an OPPO A15 (£120) here. There are sure to be other, cheaper smartphones with decent batteries that will do the job.
By "with buttons" do you mean a smartphone with a qwerty keyboard (few, not cheap, teeny keys) or a phone-type 0-9 keypad (don't know of any)?1 -
Thanks, I mean a phone with a phone type keypad. He loves his old phone which replaced his very old Nokia and if there’s a phone I can get for him that looks similar but that can take a vaccine passport that would be ideal. He’s a creature of habit and wants a rugged phone (he’s a builder so it needs to withstand and being flung into a tool belt) that makes calls and texts, but I really think one that will show his vaccine status would be really useful.gavinbaxter said:Covid app running on an OPPO A15 (£120) here. Problem is that the NHS app only runs on Android (or Apple) devices. Your requirement is for a feature (aka "dumb") phone and these don't run Android (AFAIAA.). Don't think there's a practical way around this.1

You can get a NHS COBID Pass letter if you don't have smartphone.

Definitely get a paper copy the app/NHS login is not reliable enough.1
