Also, Lloyds told me that annual DD's don't count for a lot of things eg on their Club a/c to get the interest an annual DD would not count as one of the two required. So as you said one of the two DD's you were perhaps late in setting up was in fact an annual one, this may not have helped.Just a thought.

That's because the requirement is specifically for the DD's to pay out every month. Clearly, an annual payment will not satisfy that requirement. There is no such requirement in the Nationwide switching offer.flossy_splodge said:Also, Lloyds told me that annual DD's don't count for a lot of things eg on their Club a/c to get the interest an annual DD would not count as one of the two required. So as you said one of the two DD's you were perhaps late in setting up was in fact an annual one, this may not have helped.Just a thought.

It would be a very bad idea indeed to make assumptions about one incentive based on the rules of a completely different incentive offered by a different bank.flossy_splodge said:Also, Lloyds told me that annual DD's don't count for a lot of things eg on their Club a/c to get the interest an annual DD would not count as one of the two required. So as you said one of the two DD's you were perhaps late in setting up was in fact an annual one, this may not have helped.Just a thought.

Well, for Club Lloyds to pay interest, it would count in the month it was collected.flossy_splodge said:Also, Lloyds told me that annual DD's don't count for a lot of things eg on their Club a/c to get the interest an annual DD would not count as one of the two required. So as you said one of the two DD's you were perhaps late in setting up was in fact an annual one, this may not have helped.Just a thought.
