I paid €196 Euro. Around £166 GBP. And is being sold for €1275 else where.

I just originally thought it was a good sale price.

You really believed that something that normally sells for over £1,000 was going to be sold for £196. At that level of "saving" it was going to be one of the following

    1. An obvious error.
    2. A scam.
    3. All your Christmases come at once.

Well done on chancing your hand, but accept it for what it is, take the offered discount and don't waste anyone's time.
At the time of purchase I didn’t know that the product was a £1000 less. They had the item in multiple colours all of which were listed at the same price. So it wasn’t at all obvious that the price was incorrect at the time of purchase.

It wasn’t until they cancelled the item that I thought I would try and find the item else where and then realised it was most likely priced wrong.

I sought advice from citizens advice. They are the ones who have contacted Trading Standards and ECC on my behalf.

I came on here to seek advice, I wanted to know if I had any legal rights as a consumer. It appears I have no legal rights. I have been told that  the company have breached a contract but still have no legal obligation to sell me the product at the incorrect price. Citizens advice informed me that some companies do still honour the price.

Legal rights  and consumer rights  as said its Danish laws not UK laws that apply .
Contract breach all depends upon what Danish law says , so they may not have breached a Danish contract .
Neither CAB nor Trading Standards can give real advice on Danish laws .
    Danish Consumer Rights forum ??

Even supposing that EU consumer law was on your side (which it won't be) and required the retailer to sell to you at the previously stated price, how exactly do you propose enforcing your rights, other than employing a Danish lawyer to pursue your claim? It's simply not feasible.

So in this case you didn't properly do your research before making a purchase. Whenever you make a purchase you should always check multiple sites/sources to see what the general price is and with the internet it makes it very easy and quick.

I know in this case the price was very low but if you just buy from the first site you see an item without knowing how much it usually sells for then it's likely you have overpaid many time before compared to what you could have paid.

Was it a designer handbag? As a mere male their pricing baffles me!

I don't think anybody here has told you that the Danish company have broken any contract?

As several posters have said, your purchase is almost certainly governed by Danish - not UK - contract and consumer law, so nobody here can give you any definite answer.  (What do the T&Cs on the seller's website say about which country's laws govern their sales?).

In the UK - as opposed to Denmark - the T&Cs of many online sales specify that a contract is only formed between the purchaser and the seller when the goods are dispatched, not any earlier.  If the T&Cs of your Danish seller have a similar provision, then there is no contract for them to break before they have sent the goods off to you.  (Again - what do their T&Cs say?)

And even if there were a contract then (at least under UK law) it would be possible for the seller to remove themselves from the contract in the case of what is known as a "unilateral mistake".  If the seller has been mistakenly advertising something at £100 when the going price is more like ten times greater, it's virtually certain a court would say they did not have to honour the lower price.

TBH I'm surprised CAB couldn't (or didn't) explain all that to you.

Just think about what the consequences would be if companies could be legally forced to sell goods after making such a mistake.   It would ruin them - if they're selling for €1275, they they probably cost the company at least €1000 - meaning they'd be forced to sell each item at a €800 loss.   Do you really think such a law would be put in place?   Somebody makes a typo on the website and your company is forced to go bankrupt, does that sound fair to you?
