UKPC Appeal help needed

Hi I was recently given a ticket by this company. I panicked at first and appealed on the website. Unfortunately I said I was the driver which I have now seen is worst thing to do. This car park entrance only has one big sign and it’s for NCP (different company). I paid for a digital ticket through the NCP app. However…

if you lose at POPLA, what in the NEWBIES thread section about POPLA says you have to pay? You don't. It isn't a fine and POPLA isn't binding on the public.
