UKPC Appeal help needed

Hi
I was recently given a ticket by this company. I panicked at first and appealed on the website. Unfortunately I said I was the driver which I have now seen is worst thing to do. This car park entrance only has one big sign and it’s for NCP (different company). I paid for a digital ticket through the NCP app. However when I came back I found a ticket on my windscreen. There was no sign where my car was parked as it looked part of the NCP car park and it’s the only entrance. In the wardens photos he’s taken a picture of a sign that is behind a wall and obviously out of sight from where I am parked. I feel the appeal to UKPC will be rejected straight away from reading forums. Is this still worth a claim to POPLA even though I’ve said I’m the driver. I have photos of the entrance signs displayed by NCP not UKPC, pictures of the pay and display machines in this car park that I used and also a receipt of my payment for a ticket just obviously not to the right company. The signage is also tiny and could only be read from close up once I actually found the sign round the corner of the wall.
Thanks for any help

Read the newbies forum but it says don’t say you’re the driver this is why I’m unsure whether an appeal to POPLA would be worth it0

Sounds like if you get photo or video evidence you'd have a very good case for showing POPLA that there are no signs telling people this little area is not part of the NCP car park.
Get photos and a short video in similar lighting conditions, same time of day, and embed the date/time metadata stamped at the bottom of all your photos, and include as evidence that you paid NCP and theirs is the only entrance sign.
Can you show us a link to the place on Google Streetview?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Okay I’ll gather more photos and a video. Here’s the location. It’s not letting me post links as I’m new but address is NCP car park, Crawley, Parkside,RH101EHThanks0

There’s one sign on the wall I parked against but it’s tiny and there’s delivery cages there all day blocking the view0

And it’s quite a bit a long from where I actually parked. I have no seen the small sign at the entrance on the other side of the road but it’s not even facing the right way and makes it look like it’s just that small section that UKPC monitor which is not where I parked0

There are/were two signs at the entrance to this carpark.
This NCP ones on the left...
https://goo.gl/maps/oqygznfpqY7oNAUk9
and in June 2019 this UKPC one on the right...
But by September 2020 that UKPC sign had vanished...
However, the UKPC sign is now (Sept 2020) on a post at a strange angle...
So, in summary, at the entrance we have a prominent NCP sign on the left and an almost hidden UKPC sign on the right.
I wonder which one a motorist would notice?...

Thanks Keith this is what I saw. No body driving in would see that sign. Is it worth an appeal you think? Just don’t want that to get rejected and be stung with a 100 quid fine0

It looks like the two car parks might be bounded by this metal drain grill...

But really it is anyone's guess.
(I've added the orange lines, they are not in the car park
