I’m remortgaging my home (new build - built 2013) and it was identified
that the postcode on my home is different to the land registry.
I
contacted the land registry and they stated that there is no 9would
error on their part on the first registration of property October 2013.
If I wish to update property description then I have to submit a AP1
form with evidence of correct address (would I get this from royal mail -
Ive already email them)
Royal Mail - 2QA
land registry title deed -2PT
I'm worried as it will hold up my remortgage.
Which one would be the correct land registry? If so do I contact Royal Mail asking them to update the records? I have no idea!
thanks! (I know another post in different username this account will be deleted)
It is the last two letters that are incorrect.

You said "it was identified that the postcode on my home is different" but has anybody actually said to you that it must be amended and (if so) that you're the person who should be sorting it out?1 -

Yes, the solicitors who are currently checking the documents for me to remortgage. They identified that the title deed postal code is different (last two letters) from royal mail. They asked for my council tax bill which is same as the title deed.

The solicitor represents hsbc bank who are doing the offer to my mortgage broker for the remortgage0

What postcode are your neighbours using? Royal Mail database should be the correct one to use, it is possible that a postcode hadn’t been allocated at the time your house was registered.0
