DCBL Letter of Claim - UKPC
Comments
-
Carry on. No 'time has come', this is a normal stage of lull.
That's a standard template letter and no-one ever replies to it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can you clarify?
I have just receive a letter from dcbl stating that their client would like to proceed with the claim after receiving my defence...
with a caveat to respond within 7 days if wanting to "negotiate a settlement"0 -

No negotiation will reduce the amount they are asking for to less than you can reduce it in court even if you were to lose there.
Did they also enclose a copy of their completed Directions Questionnaire?
Wail patiently for your DQ from the CCBC and follow the guidance to complete it.2 -
A completed Directions Questionnaire from the claimant was enclosed.
Will be in touch once my DQ has been received2 -
DCBL wanted to be TOP DOG ..... they took over from BWLegal and the daft claims.
DCBL are now wanting to settle before court ... they must be realising that the UKPC claims belong in the mickey mouse club
One judge recently said and it sums up DCBL ..

The judge went onto state it was a bit of a joke the way parking companies send in reps to present cases such as this.
A joke indeed and if they want to settle before court, it's to save their face and to collect money along the way.
If you get a DCBL letter wanting to settle, the answer is NO. Go to court, get them spanked and hopefully the judge will award your costs0 -
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Of the recent batch of UKPC/DCBL claims I think yours is one of the earliest to get a completed DQ from them.0 -
Hi All, I have not received anything in the post, but upon checking MCOL - the DQ was sent to me on the 27th Jan.
Would calling them to request the document again work, or is there an email channel to follow? Have i missed a deadline to submit the DQ? what's the general lead time? 28 days?

Here are the relevant steps from that list...
Other steps on that list are well worth re-reading too.0
