Thank you very much. Would you simply say 'ticket' instead of 'fine'?
I have amended Amtrac to KBT Cornwall Ltd
The whole defence is there, it's just too long for the post.
    Many thanks

"Parking Charge Notice (PCN)" the first time you mention it, then just "PCN" thereafter.

  • I sent my claim form to the County Court Business Centre in good time in realation to KBT Cornwall issuing me with a parking ticket and BW Legal Services then pursuing me. I received an email confirmation on the same day, but have just received a letter from County Court Business Centre stating that I did not reply to the claim form and no one is answering the phone. Would anyone know a number or have some advice what to do next please? Many thanks

Does it say you didn't respond to the claim form, or didn't respond to the Directions Questionnaire N180?

Does it say you lost by default?

See the thread by @jag_run which I think is the one that shows how to complain to the CCBC if they got it wrong. He got £150 compensation and the case resurrected.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have finally been sent a Directions Questionnaire (Small Claims Track). Thanks

But I have just received a Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing) and the judge has allocated the claim to the small claims track. Th hearing will be after 31 May. But the judge believes that the case is suitable for mediation. Would it be advisable just to wait for the court hearing instead? Thank you

Please read what it says about mediation in the Newbies/FAQ thread.

BW Legal have just written to say I admitted that the heat made the permit unclear and that I sent a cheque for £100, which they returned. Would you still advise to wait for the court hearing please. Thanks
