Vodafone broadband offer problems

Has anyone had problems trying to sign up for the vodafone broadband offer which ends tomorrow?  I followed the link but when I got to the vodafone page it says there is a problem and gives a phone number, which is invalid.  I did the online chat and was told they could sign me up but I wouldn't get the voucher as it's third party.  I knew that but it doesn't help.

Maybe it's an omen and I shouldn't bother.

    Check your address on the city fibre site, i had an error message come up after selecting the product but couldn't go through the checkout page. Turns out despite after inputting my address on Vodafone's site and it say they do supply my address, turns out they don't

    Yes I've had problems too. Vodafone superfast 1 deal ends nov 1st. There's a voucher for £125. I clicked thru on Get Deal from MSE Broadband Deals page and followed the sign up process. I got an email from Gift Cloud about the voucher. "If you haven't done so already, please complete your purchase on the Vodafone website using the below link to ensure you get your reward." I completed all the steps for sign up and when i tried to checkout i got message saying there was a problem, to refresh the page and try again. I did this twice and got the same message, so I called the customer helpline. She said there may be a system problem and to keep trying and she could sign me up but i'd lose the voucher. so i went through the whole process again and when i tried to checkout got a message saying something wasn't quite right with either my personal or billing details and to check the details and try again. so i did and got the same message. then I spent about an hour with live chat who said it was a 3rd party problem and he could sign me up but i'd lose the voucher.  Started trying to sign up at 15.05h and ended up at 17.03h with no help, no resolution, no transcript of live chat sent to my email (lucky I took a copy anyway). so 2 hours wasted. Grrr!!

    So I rebooted my PC and I might have a large gin and tonic, or maybe just gin, and then try it again before contacting MSE.

  • Had the same problem, the link on the Vodafone website after the voucher page wasn't available (an error occurred) and continued as such for the rest of today. Their online chat wasn't any more helpful and they kept asking if I was interested in an offer directly from them! Their last online chat message was somewhat bazaar and it basically told me the offer I was interested in (38Mb) was very slow and only 10 Mb actual speed and why would I want it anyway? Then it all suddenly the full chat disappeared before I could copy it! Gee thanks Vodafone for confirming that your customer service is indeed crap to a prospective new customer:)

    Tried two different devices and different browsers, and incognito mode.
    Calling them didn't help, online chat didn't help.
