FX Travel Ltd

Please please do not use this company to obtain your currency.  My order for £750 worth of Euros was due to be delivered on the 1st October.  Owing to a mistake between FX Ltd and their courier Royal Mail my currency was not delivered. As a result, they missed the deadline for my holiday and two weeks later I still have not received my currency.  They have also refused to reimburse me which would have allowed me to purchase currency from an alternative source.  Their customer relations and complaints department are atrocious.  Be warned!

  • I am currently in the same situation. How long did Travel FX take to locate your currency? I have used them for years with absolutely no problems. Very prompt with past deliveries. It does concern me that they have placed the risk with me if insurance refuses to pay. I was always under the impression that any goods received are not your responsibility until you receive and pay for them. 

    Can they get around this with their T&Cs? Would be interested to hear what others think.

    ive had the exact same thing happen with Travel FX, the special guaranteed delivery from the post office just stopped at the entry into their tracking system.

    TravelFX now say that they are working (for me!!) with the post office to investigate and that I have to wait 45 days then apply for a refund. Surely it's just a breach of contract for their delivery to not happen? Now I'm left with no currency or refund for our holiday in two days time.
