Servicing package

Will probably word this horrendously but here goes. 
I'm buying a car from a Kia dealership somewhat 300 mile away as my local branch didn't have the spec I want. The dealership are owned by different companies although both Kia. 
I've was going to take out a service package on the car with my local Kia dealer once it arrives as this will be the brand that tend to my servicing needs given I live in said city. I previously looked at athe same car (in slightly different spec which is why I didn't go for it) at my local branch & when discussing quotes then was quoted prices for servicing. The dealership I'm going to buying from have asked me if I want to arrange servicing package through them & have quoted me much more competitive prices stating the service can take place at any Kia dealership (IE my local) so I'm confused 1 as to why the prices are so different & 2 I'm worried if I purchase via the dealership I'm buying from when it comes to servicing time and I contact my local brand they will find some loophole & refuse to service the car as will see I paid a substantially cheaper price. 

So I'm not sure if I should go with the dealer I'm buying from bc it's cheaper or just wait until the car arrives & organise it through my local branch.

Is it a Kia service plan and are the local Dealer Kia service agents .If so any problems speak to Kia .

How will the local dealer know what you paid ??

I recall I had a choice of a Kia backed service plan to use at anyKia dealer, or the delership branded one where i was tied to the dealer. The paperwork should make it clear which it is, but better to ask first.

So do they not do *Dealer Transfers* anymore?

Back in the 1990s we often did swops with other dealers Red one for a Blue one and sometimes a simple collection.

Most cars were theoretically on an Sale Or Return basis from the manufacturer although we never returned them

The dealer I'm buying from is premier automotives they are the approved Kia dealership in their city (300 miles away). My local approved Kia is owned by Arnold Clark. 

As they are owned by different companies no they won't do a transfer I was told Arnold Clark here can only source cars from other Arnold Clark branches. 

If I purchase a service plan through the delear I'm buying from (is premier) do my local Kia Arnold Clark HAVE to honour it?

If it's a Kia-backed warranty I think the answer is Yes, else AC could be in breach of their franchise agreement with Kia.

Jenni. This is talking about a service plan although the same principle applies in my experience.

I purchased a Land Rover a few years back, along with a service plan. The service plan was a Land Rover plan rather than dealer plan meaning I could get the servicing done at any land rover dealership which is what I did as the car was purchased from Stratstone but our nearest main dealer was Marshalls

I purchased a Land Rover a few years back, along with a service plan. so basically as long as I ensure that they sell me the KIA servicing plan not their own dealer one that I should be fine to use it at my local kia. 
I tried to contact my local kia but their service advisor is off & apparently they only have 1 service advisor (ridiculous!)

the link says "We are unable to locate any plans for your vehicle, please try again or contact your dealer"

the link says "We are unable to locate any plans for your vehicle, please try again or contact your dealer" 

For me the link goes to a form where you can select your vehicle. 🤷‍♀️
