Likely best to still pay to comply with the Order just in case the appeal isn't success. Losing the appeal won't give you a fresh 14 days.

If the OP contacts Contestor immediately I'm sure they'll be able to properly advise them whether they should still pay the judgment ... and this will be in plenty of time within the 14 days.Jenni x2

Jackson will let you know if he sees grounds.
Did you ever see the 137 page bundle?
What did she say about the POFA 2012?
This looks like an error:
"The judge also did not allow me to contest the claimants final statement which she said she wouldnt but i thought was a bit unfair as a litigant in person because they raised some incorrect points."
Ask Jackson about that refusal.
She said POFA part of the defence doesnt apply because you have admitted to being a driver.
She asked me to put all my defence final statement together which I did. The claimant then refuted some of my points and put forward a few incorrect ones as part of his 'final statement'. When I tried to refute, the judge said I had had my turn in my 'final' statement.0 -

It's not gone unnoticed that there's been a concerning pattern in your previous posts on this board (almost all deleted or hidden now for some reason?) where IIRC, you have told people they should pay private PCNs and that they are in the wrong.
We respectfully disagree. Adamantly.
Is it a setting I've enabled do you know?
Only mentioned it in this one since there was a judgment involved and appealing a Judgment doesn't normally stay the judgment.0 -
I don't know why your profile would show threads and posts that don't exist I'm afraid. My post was based on recollection (hence I caveated it with "IIRC") but if I've remembered wrong I'm happy to delete it and let's just wait and see if Contestor Legal can see grounds to help this victim.
Seems to be the case from their report about what the Judge said, that this poster has never seen the 137 page bundle that BW were ordered to serve in 2023 and then was further wronged by being told they could not respond to BW's 'later submission'.
Odd, and unjust. Looks a possible for appeal but I wouldn't presume to tell a Defendant to pay what's been ordered when we know they are looking into appealing and will get good advice from Contestor Legal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
