Thank you to everyone that contributed all the excellent information on this forum. It has helped me immensely.
Parking Incident in 2020 from Total Parking Solution Ltd.
I need help choosing my court on my N180, the Government site keeps giving me Birmingham City Centre.
I am a new driver and have never driven into the City.
Are there any suitable Courts closer to Sutton Coldfield?
I have tried entering a Sutton Coldfield postcode. But it keeps giving me Birmingham City Centre.
My passenger is Disabled and maybe a witness. Access maybe an issue if we need to attend in person.
I may need assistance later are this.
Sorry if this needs editing, dinner is done.

Stick your postcode into www.gov.uk/find-court-tribunal to find your nearest county court.
What about Walsall County Court or Dudley County Court?3 -
Chances are that whichever civil County court is chosen , that it will be a telephone hearing or video hearin , not in person2
-
Thank you, Walsall sounds a lot better. But hopefully I won't have to go there either.
My passenger at the time had a blue badge. Part of my defence is that the blue badge bay sign differs from other signs in the carpark.
Will I need to have that person with me or can they do a written statement?
I am confused about this part.
Also do I have to give my phone details on the N180?
I would prefer not to give it to the parking company.0 -
The named Defendant must attend any hearing.
If there are other Witness Statements, then those statements will carry more weight if those witnesses also attend.3 -
Is it best to do the N180 online or paperwork?
Is it still correct to send a copy to the Parking company or their solicitor?
Which one do I send it to?
Thank you for your help.
P.S. What about the phone numbers on N180?

Those questions are easily answered by re-reading the first post on the Template Defence thread.
Did you use that guidance when preparing your Defence?
Your County Court Claim Form has a box on it telling you where to send documents for the Claimant.3 -
Just double checking, to make sure I've read the right posts and not the old ones.
Yes regards the defence, I found several templates yourself and others recommended.
I mixed and matched the information from several threads to suit my situation.
Thank you for you patience0 -
Might be best to post your defence here so we know exactly what you've said, please.CarMadness30 said:

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Email the N180 to the ccbcaq email address and copy in the lawyers if being used ( so not the claimant )
Phone numbers go to your local court in several months time , as does the witness statements and exhibits etc
Your passenger should provide you with their WS a d can attend the conference call , be it by phone or by video link ( or in court if it was an in person hearing )2 -
Sorry but in a panic. Packing witness statement and evidence etc.
Just want to make sure I am posting this to the Court and BW legal and no copy needed to Total Parking Solutions Limited.
Big Thank You To Everyone0
