Suggestion for book keeping

Afternoon
Not sure which forum I should put this under.
I have only own limited running free lance work. I am looking for free software for two reasons:
1. Raise invoices to my customer
2. MTD for Flat Rate Scheme (FRS) for VAT return for HMRC
Rest bookkeeping are done by my account.
I came across Bokio (https://www.bokio.co.uk/) which does both of these for free - before I sign-up for real I was wondering if anybody has used this and do you recommend? Alternatively it would be great if you can recommend any other book keeping software for the basics I am after
Thank you
