British Gas app won't take my meter readings

Hi,

We were switched to British Gas after PFP Energy collapsed. I've entered our meter readings multiple times in their app, each time it appears to work as I get a confirmation message. An hour or so later the app states that no readings have been entered and that I have to ACT NOW to keep my switch underway. I've also emailed readings to the email address they provided. Wondered if anyone else has had this problem?

    Don’t worry. The IT systems and web portal are set up for normal switches where the supplier needs your meter reading at switch date. A SoLR transfer isn’t normal, the IT is in autopilot but the account probably isn’t completely up and running yet. Just sit tight it will sort itself out. They don’t urgently need your meter readings, they will open your account with meter readings from the time PFP went bust and BG were appointed SoLR.
