Washing Machines which do NOT have a Sealed drum unit?

Here is email I got from Miele last year, just to show one of my customer as he was bit hesitant so I got it from horses mouth -" "  "  Good Morning,

Thank you for contacting the Miele retail sales team with your enquiry regarding washing machines. 

I can confirm that none of our machines have sealed drums and they can all be accessed if they need to be.

There are few machines from other manufacturers that don't have sealed drums, as far as I remember only miele and ebac don't produce any with sealed drum

At the moment I am considering either:

• Samsung Series 6 WW80T684DLH - 8Kg, 1400spin, with Auto Dose, £600
• EBac AWM8D2-WH - 8kg, 1600spin, £500

Nice thing about Ebac is they are made in the UK.  The fact that some of their machines use hot water fill could be a money-saver for those who have a hot water tank in these days of expensive electricity

And it was 'last year', so no guarantee the situation is still the same.

Odd because a couple of months ago they replaced my 9 year and 9 month old machine, under a 10 year guarantee, with a new one because they couldn't access the drum support to replace it.
