3 Mix and Match advice...
I’m looking ahead to March when my 2 t-mobile contracts are up (currently paying £20p/m for Flext20 and £25 for Flext25), and specifically looking to upgrade both to the Nokia 6500 slide. I notice Three (who I’ve never used before) are offering a really attractive looking Mix & Match 300 & 500 plans.
The plan looks ideal for my needs, but I notice the offer ends 31st December. Does anyone know how long these Mix & Match plans have been around and what’s likely to change on 1st Jan? Three’s online chat support would only offer a “no comment” reply when I asked them the same question… Naturally, all they were interested in was getting me to sign-up today. I’d consider buying out the remainder of my T-mobile contract if I knew this offer DEFINITELY won’t be extended into the new year – I can’t see T-Mobile being able to match that even when my renewals’ up in March.
Also, if I were to go to 3, what cashback could I potentially receive for taking out two contracts (M&M 300 + M&M 500) i.e. via referrals and Quidco (which I've never used before)?
TIA

solfer - just take them out on different days to ensure separating the transactions and your quidco should be fine, I don't believe there is a limit on how many contracts you can take out in this way(I myself have 2, one for me, one for mrs GunJack). Lost's advice sounds good - I've been with 3 for four years, 2 contracts at a time, and the tariffs are always good value and have got better year on year. T-mobile will not get anywhere near 3 on a retention deal, see the T-mobile retention thread for more info.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Cheers GunJack - I'd read your post (with interest!) the day before. Have to say, I've had 2 contracts on T-mobile for about 3 years, & the renewals & rentention process has been a pain in the butt each time it comes round.
Until I looked at 3, T-mobile's Flext plan was the best deal I could find for my needs, so I stuck with them... But not for much longer!! See ya T-Mob

Don't go to 3. Their service is patchy at best and the staff are rude and abusive.0 -

Even with the 2g roaming onto Orange? tbh, I'm not too bothered about the 3g side of the service..0 -
I get coverage on 3 almost everywhere, yes there's the odd dead spot but generally less than on the other networks. I would suspect down your way you'll have no problems. 3 have a coverage checker on their website, and OFCOM or whatever they're called this week have a mobile mast finder on their site somewhere. Do your homework and you shouldn't go far wrong.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
