caixaBank was 2euro.
unicaja did not advise a charge, but the exchange rate was pretty dire.

Would using my Santander UK mastercsrd debit card in a Santander ATM be cheaper than the Halifax Clarity card for cash withdrawal? Yes or No.
Unfortunately his posts on the subject have been quite misleading. Use your Santander card in a Santander ATM. No fee should be levied.

I bank with Santander in the UK too.....think i'll be looking at a switch.....take hate to the grave......
The hardest part I found a few years ago, no idea if it's still the same, was that it wasn't even consistent across Spain even for the same bank. It seems far more charged in the tourist regions than elsewhere. For example in Madrid I had no problem withdrawing fee free from a number of banks. However the same banks charged in the Balearics/Canaries.2 -

Luckily all restaurants etc in Greece not sure about Spain have to accept card payments now so didn't have to use atm much

Use your Santander debit card in a Santander branded ATM in Spain and you will most definitely not be charged any fee.
