Parkingeye PCN ASDA

Few weeks ago, I ( the DRIVER ) had a blowout on a 3-lane road and I crawled to an ASDA car park that was nearby on Sunday after 5'o clock.
I then called RAC who told me that a patrolman could be within 4 hours. I then rang a tyre shop and they sent someone to take my alloy and tyre and then they came back and installed the new tyre.
I was at the car park for 1 1/2 hours.
PE have sent me a PCN to pay within 14 days for £40.
This is the signage at the entrance to the car park , courtesy of Google maps :

The parking charge info section on the letter also states the following line :
In addition, the signage states that as a max stay car park, a parking charge is applicable if the vehicle remains within the car park for longer than the 0 hours 0 minutes max stay time.
I think I have the dashcam footage.
Will PE consider if I make an appeal ?

Let us see a redacted copy of the first letter you received from ParkingEye - front and back, but leave dates showing please. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Has the Asda manager fixed this for you now, as per @KeithP's advice?KeithP said:Go back to Asda and get the store manager to fix it for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I could go to Customer services and speak to them.Just wondering if they may not be accommodating as they closed at 5 and I was technically not a customer.

And pens and paper. I have had three PE/Asda recently. All called after a letter to the manager. Have you complained to your MP. Also read this (MC22)

I paid the tyre shop's guys cash. There would be no record, apart from my Dashcam footage when I had a blowout and ASDA's CCTV showing tyres being replaced.

I approached CS and none of the managers were around. They will hand letter to the store manager and will call me on Monday to let me know of the outcome.
