Twin-tuner Freeview recorders

Hello,
What in your opinion is the best (by which I mean cheapest, simplest, and likeliest to still be working in 3 years' time) twin-tuner Freeview recorder?
The prospective users:
- don't want/need Smart or FreviewPlay functionality
- don't need HD although if the best option is HD then it'd be no bother
- do want built in memory rather than using USB sticks
- do want simplicity of operation and clarity of user interface
I've seen the Manhattan T2-R and Humax HDR 1800-T which seem to be about right for ~£120 but are there any others?
Many thanks!

Freeview Play is built into everything, so just don't use it if you don't want to. HD is part of the spec now, again if you like watching in mushy-vision then that's up to you.

Hi Neil, thanks for the reply, it's not that I want SD, it's that the people on who's behalf I'm asking do not have an HD capable screen on which to view, and will not be persuaded to buy one unless their current TV dies on them.Neil_Jones said:Freeview Play is built into everything, so just don't use it if you don't want to. They had a TVonics recorder which has served their purposes well, and as Tvonics went bust in 2011 it has lasted at least 10 years , but it died on them recently.
Any suggestions of models to look at?0 -
I’ve bought several Humax recorders over the last 10-12 years - really liked the first one which I bought for my bedroom (I suffer from insomnia so like to have things to watch when I can’t sleep) and bought another for my daughter, have since bought another for the living room tv.
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur1 -
Look on ebay for a used Humax. Can be very cheap now due to the availability of streaming.
