How to thank fiance

Just love him for him.... and really love him.
You may not be religious but this has a pretty good idea of what real love is:
Love is patient. Be patient when he annoys you or doesn't want to talk to you about something.
Love is kind. Do things to make his lie easier, even if it causes you more hassle / work.
Love does not envy. Don't wish you looked better for him or wish you had his life.
Love does not boast. Being humble is difficult for most. Don't walk around like you own a million pound house and fast cars.
Love is not proud. Related to the above. See through this feeling into what lurks beihind.
Love does not dishonor others. It's okay to joke with each other but learn, quickly, where the line is and always stay a good way away from it. You may think a certain comment will be funny, he may not.
It is not self-seeking. Don't think about yourself. It's amazing how much feeling can be released when you think of the other person.
It is not easily angered. Even when he annoys you, don't rise to it.
It keeps no record of wrongs. Don't bring up past wrongs in any arguments.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Don't think "ha, that serves you right" when something bad happens to him, no matter how trivial.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Many of these are simply too difficult for people to attain to and while most will think they don't need these to show love, it's still a good basis for what real love really is.1 -

Charlotte, NC has an aviation museum https://www.carolinasaviation.org/ and of course Kitty Hawk, NC is where the Wright Brothers made their first flights.
If he likes WWII stuff more than airliners - get a cheap Florida holiday and go to https://www.fantasyofflight.com/collection/

In Charlotte NC he has mentioned that museum a lot something about a miracle and Sully? and the Wright Brothers plane would be cool to see.
He isn't in to WWII as much.1 -

Really ? Feels like that is exactly what he has done ? Always someone determined to find a negative spin !
It's not a 'negative spin' at all.
The OP clearly wants a way to thank her partner for how he has helped turn her life around.
And he's not letting her do that - albeit for all good reasons.S_Jay said:I was speaking with him and he mentioned about always wanting to go to Seattle and Charlotte (He is a big plane fan and no idea whats there). I have said I will take him there as a thank you. He was in shock I remembered those two places.
He said thats a perfect way to say thank you.
Between us, I have no clue whats in those two places! (I have the money to pay for this without taking any debt on!)
It seems like there has been some discussion and a lovely way for the OP to show her gratitude has been found.

Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger was the pilot of US Airways Flight 1549 famous for crashlanding an airliner on the Hudson River in 2009 without loss of life. That's been called the "Miracle on the Hudson" and Tom Hanks played him in the film. The wrecked plane is in that museum in Charlotte (which was where US1549 was heading to).

At the moment travel to the USA is difficult/impossible, although that may change soon, see https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/usa/entry-requirementsAs an alternative, has he ever flown a plane? If not, how about a taster flying lesson, you can get these from around £100 or so.
