Happy New Year. Your goals sound doable. I envy your time on the beach - I'd have to travel quite a way to get to one. I think I will plan that in soon though as I love seeing the sea. Good luck with the next phase of your journey.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We are so lucky where we live in Wales, several beaches are only 15-20 minute drives away and we also have the hills and mountains which I love. We are going to look to do more walking at the beach in the early morning as it gets very busy down there. Hope you get to the beach soon.
Today is a NSD. I have been taking down the Christmas decoration and giving the house a good clean, ready for going back to work on Tuesday. Bed has been stripped and sheets in the washing machine, waiting for Mr D to return home from his bike ride, to help me turn the mattress, it's so heavy this is one job I can not do on my own.
Have a ham joint in the oven, this will be made into pea and ham soup, dinner tomorrow night, unsure what we will have with it, maybe home made chips and fried egg, we will see and lunches for me the rest of the week.
I have a pile of Christmas decoration that need to go in the loft, that's me up and down the loft ladder for the next half hour.

In 402 days I will be 55.
Not been here for a while. My current debt stands at £1426.88 and this will be cleared by Christmas, so I can concentrate on building saving by my 55th birthday. Paying back £7767.78 in 10 months has been hard work, especially has I have had some bad days, the debt wasn't helping with how I was feeling. As the amount has decreased, my anxiety surrounding my debt has also started to reduce. There is no better feeling that looking at your bank account on payday and your wages have not been eaten up by the overdraft.
Over the next few months I don't want to let the motivation drop and the spending to start creeping back in and come Christmas the debt is still not paid. I have started to see an increase in spending over the last few week and I need to rain this back in, so dear diary you are my accountability log.
Have annual leave Friday and Monday so a nice long weekend. Have some plans that involve spend money, all budgeted for and my wardrobe is going to get a sort out and I need to do a fridge/freezer/cupboard inventory.
Hope everyone has a good day in the sunshine.

Back from an afternoon of work visits, melting driving around all afternoon, so looking forward to my long weekend. Love the warm weather however this few days has been slightly to hot for me. Worked from home this morning and in between meeting completed a few Prolific surveys and a Y Live survey worth £3.00, will be looking to complete a few more over the weekend.
Dinner this evening is chicken skewers from the freezer, new potatoes from the garden and a salad with tomatoes from the greenhouse.
Was hoping for a NSD however I bought a few things from FB Market for my eBay shop to good a deal to pass by and should make 10 times what paid. Couple of auctions ending this evening so fingers crossed for some good sales.
Washing machine has just finished so I am off to get the washing on the line to dry in the evening sun.

Thank you @savingholmes.
Didn't sleep very well last night been up since 6am, sat in the garden with a cuppa enjoying the cool breeze, best time of the day I find to gather your thoughts and make plans.
So plans for today are:
* Take a walk to the local farm to pick up some eggs, 1/2 dozen is £1.50, cheaper that the local supermarkets and I know they are happy chickens.
* Write a meal plan for next week and a shopping list.
* Grocery shopping today as tomorrow we have plans and will not have time.
* Parcel to take to the post office.
* Make a payment to the CC.
* Couple of hours photographing and listing items.
Time for my walk before it starts getting to warm.

Good Morning,
Much better nights sleep, went to bed about 10.30, which is later for me and slept until 4.30, got up at 5 o'clock and sat in the garden.
Today I am going to visit my DS and we are going out for breakfast, his favourite meal. Haven't seen him for a few weeks and I am so looking forward to seeing him. There is also a new charity shop opened up in a old church that I want to visit and its on the way.
May even call to the local ice-cream parlour for some amazing ice cream. Many happy Sunday afternoon spend there as a child deciding which flavour to have.
Time to get ready. Looking forward to a lovely day.
