Hiya, is anyone else having problems with facebook today. I can't get in either on laptop or two phones and whatsapp doesn't seem to be working on phone either.
When trying to get into facebook, it just keeps coming up with - Server not found
I've tried on Google, Opera and Firefox on the laptop and Google and whatever browser the phone normally accesses with. None of them are working.
Is everybody else ok with it?

Thanks' I thought it was strange that no one else had mentioned it on here.It seems that during an update the world of Facebook was deleted, to the outside world it does not exist. Even those that need to fix it can't as it doesn't exist so they can't access it remotely.

No great loss to my mind.. I can live without it. Also affected Instagram and Whatsapp, both of which are owned by Facebook.Seems to be somebody trashed the DNS entry for these services, so internet devices haven't the foggiest idea where to go - for those not aware, websites do not live at google.com as such, it actually lives at 173.194.73.94 (or whatever), but that's hard for humans to remember, so google.com is just a human-friendly way of getting to to the site without th enumbers.1

I think it's a bit odd that after a whistle blower who had worked for fb leaked daming documents all of fb's plateforms crash. They know they will be investigated so couldn't it be a way of covering their tracks.4

Facebook is a company, they make money from adverts. If the web server is not working they will not be making any money from it, so its in their interest to give it a good kicking to get it going again. Any fall-out from whistle-blowing will usually be short lived.
