I have cancelled it. Got the telephone from their web site. Was put through to a second person. Asked if I wanted to arrange it. I said no and she said it is cancelled.
Thanks so much for your advice and support. I should not feel vulnerable but I was very very worried about it. So thanks again Sue4 -
If they turn up anyway just do not answer the door, or plan to be out when they were due to call.Susan1942 said:I have cancelled it. Got the telephone from their web site. Was put through to a second person. Asked if I wanted to arrange it. I said no and she said it is cancelled.

I live in a retirement property so it is a call system so they can't get access in to the building unless I allow them entry. Thanks for all the advice and the warnings. I feel much better now that I have actually cancelled the appointment.2

Thanks again and I do feel much happier now. I did see quite a few reviews where people had problems with delivery dates etc0

Any electric heater you already have, or any electric heater from Currys, Argos or anywhere else will heat with exactly the same level of effectiveness and efficiency as theirs, whatever the price, even a £20 one. They use fake science to claim that a completely average product is somehow different. Their sales techniques can be very convincing, and sadly many believe them.I have an engineering degree and attempted to have a scientific discussion with their sales reps at a show stand once. I'm afraid I lost my temper as they just tell outright lies.Their products are shiny, posh and upmarket looking, but are just a very cleverly dressed up con.3

Thank you so much for that. I just had a bad feeling about it all so I am very relieved that I have cancelled the appointment.
